What is Offset Printing?
Offset printing is a traditional method of printing that utilizes a press machine and inks. There are many types of presses such as single colour presses which are ideal for printing business forms such as invoices or envelopes. Today this technology has advanced significantly and presses have the capability of printing multiple colours at a single time.
Our main offset press employs this state of the art printing technology. Our main offset press is a full colour (CMYK) press that additionally prints 3 spot colours (pantones) at the same time. Our offset printing press is a $5 million Heidelberg Speedmaster with online finishing and coating components. Due to the superior capabilities of our press and our large volume of printing orders, we are able to offer the best printing quality available for offset printing as well as extremely competitive and economic pricing. For the smaller or single colour offset printing orders we use our Mitsubishi single colour press. This press can quickly, affordably and accurately handle these projects.
Offset printing is usually determined to be the most effective means of printing when a project requires more than 1,000 pieces. However, this general rule of thumb sometimes does not apply as each project needs to be assessed based on its specific requirements. This is why we recommend that you

to discuss your specific project needs and we will be happy to offer our best, and experienced, opinions as to what method is best suited for your specific project.
Beyond utilizing the offset printing method there are a few other printing options that may best suit your printing needs. They are:
digital printing
or
large or wide-format printing
to mention only a few of the most common printing methods. When it comes to subtrates (paper, plastic, cloth etc) the options are endless. We like to tell our clients, "If you need it printed... we have your solution".
So as a recap, the advantages of offset printing are:

wide range of printing
surfaces including paper, plastic, fabric. etc.
3.
